Iowa Sheep Association Membership

Our mission is to serve Iowa Sheep Industry Association members through an educational newsletter; as a central contact point for industry information; and to inform members of opportunities for improved profit and stewardship.

Annual Meeting

The 2021 Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, July 30 at 7:00 pm in the 4H Building at the Clay County Fairgrounds. If you are attending virtually, preregistration is required.  If you are attending in person, preregistration is not required.

Membership Benefits

American Sheep Industry

ISIA members, are also members of the American Sheep Industry Association. Members receive ASI's monthly magazine via the USPS and ASI Weekly, delivered via email.

Annual Activities

The Iowa Sheep Industry Association hosts the Lamb Food Stand at the Iowa State Fair. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering and meeting other Iowa Sheep Producers.

Iowa Sheep Industry Association Scholarship

This is a one-time $500.00 scholarship awarded to high school seniors who will be attending a two or four-year college. Applicants must have involvement in and a passion for the sheep industry.

Continual Learning Opportunities

Through funding from the Iowa Sheep and Wool Promotion Board, the ISIA provides scholarships for new and existing sheep producers to pay for sheep related field days, classes, webinars, etc.
