Our next Ewe-nique Perspectives virtual meeting in Zoom will feature Ann Kolthoff from the Pipestone lamb and wool program. This will be held on Tuesday, March 22 at 7:00 pm.  Ann will be discussing feeding sheep.  This event is free, but registration is required.

Ann Kolthoff Bio:

Ann grew up in Northeast Iowa on a small diversified livestock and row crop operation. She graduated from South Dakota State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and again in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Animal Science specializing in ruminant nutrition. While working on her Master’s degree, Ann spent six years serving as the Manager of the South Dakota State University Sheep Unit. Upon completion of her graduate degree, Ann took a role with Strauss Brands, Inc. where she served as a Livestock Manager, working with beef and lamb procurement and producer education.
